BoulderDash
Dry Pastel - 9 x 24

was honored to receive an Honorable Mention Award in the Water Works II Exhibition at the Mainstreet Gallery in Lake Zurich, Illinois.

The explosion of river mist rising with the early morning light. The ripple of satin color resonating from the mid-afternoon reflection of a tree-lined riverbank. The gurgling serenity of a winter stream glowing warm during day's decline. This visual imagery is nature's imagination translated into what I call WildScapes. Lightly touching my surface with sticks of pastel, I hope this conversation will gently caress the viewer's heart and mind. I am a visual activist for nature.
